How does your media product represent particular social groups?

My magazine

NME magazine

• Both pictures have backgrounds
• Similar clothing shows that they are both of a similar genre
• All models are stood, and casually posing
• Nothing too extortionate has been used in regards to mise en scene
• The closeness of the models on both shows a positive relationship
• Not all models on my magazine are looking into the camera - this shows attitude, and makes my magazine more suited to its audience
• The facial expressions of models on my magazine are much more lighthearted - this shows the casual nature of the story attached
• With NME, there is an obvious main focus in the picture, where as with my models, they are equal
