Research and Planning: Final Pieces REVISED

  1. Front cover: I like how you have used a certain colour scheme that is very good for establishing a brand and to get it recognised. I love the font you have used it's very catchy and has a subtle boldness which creates attitude. Your models also stand out against the background as they are dressed in dark colours

Contents Page: Again the colour scheme appears here. Your pictures connect to the storylines rather well and with one image larger than the rest it immediately shows your target audience another main article our font is very easy to read which is good as no one likes to have to go through the hassle of trying to figure out what's what.

Double Page Spread: I like again how your colour scheme comes through and I like the bold font which has that attitude coming through. There is two images which is good and you've also used typical conventions of a music magazine e.g. the introduction, the red font to black in the main article and the boarder on the edge very good.

  2. I love your magazine tasha!!! The colour scheme you have use isnconsistent throughout and I think at a first glance, this really stands out. Your use of photography and shot types is excellent!! You've varied them well and they piece your front cover, contents and double age spread together!! So well done. I love how you have taken inspiration from magazines that are already existent but on the other hand, you have also added your own twist on it. Your font styles have been well thought out and this is easy to tell! So it emphasises the key points on each page which is great!
Overall Tasha, I love your final pieces, the progress you have made is incredible and This magazine would definitely catch my eye and draw me in to reading it :-) well done!

  3. Front cover: The white and pink/red fonts are good as they compliment them each other, the font on the 'Arterix' is the most interesting font over all. The outline of the models are good as the make them stand out however because there are so many things to look at it gets confusing.

Middle: Some of the photos do not have numbers on them which would have been better however the fact that there is a note is very good.

Last: I love how it is split in half it makes it look more interesting, the way that the colours are the same as the front is really good.

    It looks amazing Tasha!

  4. I like the colours you have picked and I think it goes with your genre of magazine.

I like how you have organised the content page and you have carried on the colours from the front cover. I also like all the different shot types used.

I also like the layout the double page spread. I also think the photo on the double page spread suits your genre. :)

  5. The Front Cover: The colours and font used compliment each other and are used appropriately. The models can be seen clearly and stand out but do not take the attention away from the rest of the cover. There's a great amount of information to help summarize the contents of the magazines. Good Job with the front cover overall! :)

Contents Page: The bold texts and fonts used are clear to read and go well with the context. The large image and three smaller images give me a good start to the magazine by giving us an example of the content and photography. The small introduction helps keep me interested in the magazine. Good Job with the Contents page! :)

Inside Pages: The inside pages user a good amount of text to give us information about the topic. The image is relevant to the interview and the heading stands out and summarizes the pages. Good Job with these pages! :)

Overall a good piece of work :D
