Q Magazine
Audience -The audience of this magazine can be split up into the following parts:
Age: This magazine would typically be aimed at older school children/college students, aged between 15 and 20/21
Gender: There is not a particular gender that would enjoy reading this magazine more than others, I don't think. The needs of both genders in terms of a good indie magazine are considered in the images as well as contents stories.
Life-Style: The life-style of the people reading this magazine is likely to be people in band D or E in the social economic grouping. This is because it is aimed at students, many of which will not have a job, and this has been considered when deciding the price.
Interests: The interests of the readers of this magazine are likely to centre around music and the creative arts. Readers are likely to enjoy going to gigs, attending meet and greets, drawing and playing music themselves, all whilst considering their budget.
Genre: The colours, as well as the dark/mysterious themed images suggest that this is an indie magazine. Models do not have to be particularly happy or cheerful, as this is not necessary to the image, and is sometimes even frowned upon (excuse the pun!) whereas with other genres, such as pop, this would not be the case.
